(BEND, OR) (NOVEMBER 19, 2013) – The Postal Connections of America (PCA) 2012-2013 Top Sales award was recently given to Pete and Sue Pierce of Bend, Oregon who have won the award a record 10 times. PCA franchisees gathered recently in Portland to honor their own at a regional PCA Franchisee Conference that included education sessions and awards programming.
PCA is a franchise chain of postal, shipping and business services stores that is experiencing exceptional growth with same-store sales up 9.2 percent over 2012, for the first nine months of 2013, on top of a 26 percent increase in 2012 over 2011.
“Delivering exceptional customer service may not sound exciting but it is what keeps our customers coming back,” explains Pete Pierce.

The Pierce’s have earned the PCA Top Sales award each year since 2002, except for 2010, when the Bend area experienced a major economic downturn. Media Trader is a unique system for buying from customers and selling digital media with music, movies, video games, textbooks and rare books online. Some of their more unusual items they have recently shipped include a dead bird that was to be tested for West Nile disease, soil samples for environmental testing, and a 7-ft. stuffed Santa Claus.
The franchise couple opened the first PCA franchise in 1996 and has gone on to serve as Area Franchisee for the company in both Oregon and Southern Washington.
